Scott Fay has owned Treasure Coast Irrigation & Landscape since 1996, and its sister company, Rood Landscape, LLC since 2007. After experiencing a period of explosive growth, Scott brought on Thomas Balling to form a cohesive and balanced business partnership. He oversees Business Development, Training, and Education efforts throughout the organization.

Scott has been in the green industry – including landscape maintenance and irrigation – since 1983. He is the author of numerous articles for green industry trade magazines. And he is a featured presenter at state and national Irrigation Association conventions.

Highly respected in the business community, Scott also speaks on general business topics at both the high school and college level, as a featured presenter. He is passionate about creating an environment of learning within his companies, and together with his team he created “13 Core Values” which has guided the organization.

Scott’s diverse business background includes the ownership of a real estate investment company (management of residential and commercial rental properties) and an RV and boat storage facility. He has also been president of two landscaping companies.

Tom Ballinger joined Treasure Coast Irrigation & Landscape, LLC in 2007 as Partner, COO and President. He has been involved in the South Florida landscape and irrigation business for more than 25 years. Tom oversees all company operations and is actively involved in creating an environment of excellence in every aspect of the business, including Customer Service and Training.

Very active and respected in the business community, Tom is past President of the Executives’ Association of the Palm Beaches, a prestigious network of the area’s top business leaders consisting of 73 “best in class” companies. He was the 2006 recipient of the prestigious “Presidents Award” for this organization. He is also on the Hobe Sound Chamber Board and is the current Treasurer of that organization. Tom is also past President of Quantum House at St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital.

Debi Wysong, with 14 years in Human Resource Management, joined the company in 2004 as the Human Resources Manager. Debi’s previous employment experience includes seven years in Human Resources within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. She has also run a recruiting service specializing in the secure placement of healthcare professionals in medical facilities locally and nationwide.

Debi provides Human Resources management and leadership by creating and maintaining a positive work environment for all employees. She holds that respect and dignity are the keys to achieving individual and company success.

Kim Waser joined Treasure Coast Irrigation and Rood Landscape in 2011 as the Director of Marketing. Kim is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelors degree in Creative Writing, and has a background in marketing and community relations for several local non-profit organizations. She is experienced in website management and search engine optimization, social media networking, communications, and event planning, and served as the lead content developer on a state-wide collaborative website, coordinating with 39 agencies across the state of Florida.

Kim is a member of the Florida Public Relations Association, currently serves as President-Elect of the Martin County Interagency Coalition, and is the Social Media Chair of the Young Professionals of Martin County Committee.

Ted Flatt joined the company in 2008. Ted brings with him over 20 years of Accounting and Business Management experience. In addition to serving our country, Ted was the CFO of a rapidly growing organization that realized successful international expansion. Ted is passionate about increasing value through continuous learning and its application to today’s rapidly changing business environment.

Education & Certifications: Associate of Science of Accounting and Computer Information Systems, Bachelor of Business Administration from South University. Master of International Business Administration from Nova Southeastern, and Doctor of Business Administration from Argosy University.

Chad Boissevain was hired in 2002 as an irrigation service technician. His dedication and commitment to consistency and quality of work brought him up quickly through the company ranks. Following his success as Lead Service Technician for the entire Abacoa communities (Jupiter, FL), he earned the position of Service Manager.

Chad has over 15 years in the Green Industry. At a young age, he worked for his family landscaping and garden center where he gained a lot of experience and knowledge. Chad has been a key leader of our initiative to educate both employees and clients in the installation and administration of central control systems.

Education and Certifications: Graduated from college with a Landscape Technician Diploma, Maxicom Levels 1 and 2 Certified.
